What’s Cookin'? – Spring 2023
Hi there, I thought I’d get a note out to everyone that follows us to let you know what’s happening at Great Lakes Grills this Spring. We’ve got a lot of new products and services to tell you about.
First of all, let’s cover the new products – new grills, griddles, pizza ovens... – that we have this year. I was surprised myself when I started putting the list together of how many new products we have. So, let’s get into it:
For gas grills, we’ve got three new higher end grills that we’ve started to carry. They are Delta Heat, AMG and Wildfire. Delta Heat and AMG are American made grills (AMG actually stands for American Made Grills – that’s their brand name!). These are beautiful, all 304 stainless steel grills. And then the Wildfire grills really stand out with their black stainless steel fronts and laser cut grates
In the pellet grill area, we are going to start carrying Pitts & Spitts. These are really nice American made pellet grills out of Houston, TX. We are the first Pitts & Spitts dealer in Michigan! They also make smokers and charcoal grills. If the pellet grills sell well, we may expand into some or all of their other products.
In the area of griddles, which have been all the rage the past couple years, we’re excited to be carrying to new griddles. We have the recently released Weber G28 Gas Griddle and a new line of griddles from Halo. The Halo griddles come in three sizes – Elite 2B 4-Burner, Elite 3B 6-Burner and Elite 4B 8-Burner. These are really nice well-built griddles.
And then for pizza ovens (another area just has hot as griddles) we have two new products, Halo and Alfa pizza ovens. The Halo Verso 16” Pizza Oven is an LP gas powered oven with a rotating pizza stone, so no need to turn it by hand with this oven. Our other new pizza oven is the Alfa Moderno Portable Pizza Oven. It will reach 1000° in 20 minutes to cook a pizza in 90 seconds!
Kamado Joe just announced their new Konnected Joe grill. It’s still a full ceramic charcoal grill, but it has a self-starter and computer assisted temperature control to help take some of the guesswork out of charcoal grilling. We’ll hopefully be able to get some of those in soon.
I think that’s pretty much all of our noteworthy new products. But I’m always keeping my eyes open for new products that I think will go well in our store. And I have some more stuff in the works, so stay tuned.
Regarding our services, we have some new services we want to make you aware of. We are now able to design your dream outdoor kitchen. Not only can we design it, but we can build/install your new custom outdoor kitchen, as well. We also have financing available on any purchases from $50-$10,000. And then we still have our grill cleaning service available. For $100 (plus tax) we’ll come to your house and clean your grill for you – leave you with a nice shiny clean grill and no mess!
And one last thing, I tend to make most major announcements of new products and services through our Facebook page. I highly encourage you to Like us on Facebook to stay up to speed with all the new things we’re doing
If you got this far, thank you very much for reading our newsletter, and hopefully we’ll see you in the store soon. Happy grilling and be safe out there!
